![]() It will be easier to list some of the games I play instead of me trying to put together a vague description of those important "small moments": But in Ylands, I quickly get bored by mundane and I move on. Players have to find their own motivation to do sometimes mundane tasks like traveling or managing inventory. Most sandbox or survival games do not propel their players forward with a story or quests. just stop? I wondered why is it so and now I think I know. Firstly I inspect all the new goodies in the Sandbox mode. My playtime usually starts with enthusiasm over a new promising update. ![]() I miss the small moments of joy and/or accomplishments. But the more I thought about what to include, the more I realized it all ties itself together into one big point. ![]() Early Accessers also received 4800 extra Coyns, some cosmetics and two pets, one of which is unique to Early backers, Sharkie the flying shark.Recently, I wanted to make a long post including points that I somehow dislike in my (otherwise liked) game. We have announced it nearly two months ago to our backers, that we're going Free2Play with part of our game, the Creative part, while we'll be keeping the Exploration part as a premium DLC, that we'll keep developing together with the creative part. You guys should be held accountable for your failure to advertise your game ethically. ![]() Making the game free to play should not be a form of advertisement when it wasnt expressed to your backers and supporters during development that thats what your plan is. I feel like you guys shouldnt spit on those who supported you during EA. We feel it wouldn't have been fair to make the whole game free (in regards to our Early Accessers) but we wanted as many people as possible to have access to the Creative side of Ylands. Originally posted by adam.snellgrove:We have opened up the Creative side of the game to the public (Editor, Sandbox and Creator made content) but Exploration is still a paid add-on which our Early Accessers automatically received together with some extra Coyns, cosmetics and two pets (one of which only out Early Accessers got: Sharkie!). ![]()
